
I received an email from the City of Toronto, Economic Development, Culture, and Tourism Department about a session its hosting called the Small Business Arts Forum on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the North York Civic Centre, 5100 Yonge Street, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Small Business Arts Forum is a City of Toronto initiative, organized in collaboration with the Ontario Ministry of Culture, Ontario Ministry of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Toronto Artscape, Cultural Careers Council Ontario, Women in Film & Television, and others, to put together an inspiring and informative day of "Empowering the Entrepreneur in the Arts".
The Forum will feature a full day of interactive programming with keynote presentation, informative roundtable peer-to-peer”discussions, educational seminars and networking.
Over 150 people are expected to attend this exciting event, including budding entrepreneurs and existing entrepreneurs in the arts industry. The forum's goal is to develop and enhance business skills in the arts community, promote entrepreneurship, and bring together individuals and businesses to network and expand their circle of contacts.
